The twelfth annual “Blessing of the Animals” will take place at Bellaire United Methodist Church on Saturday April 13 from 1:00-3:00. At this fun, family-friendly and pet-friendly event, people of all faiths are invited to bring their dogs, cats, hamsters, fish or other pets to receive an individual blessing from one of our pastors. Dr. Jack Beck, a noted biblical scholar and Holy Land expert, will be with us to share three presentations on the theme of “What We Can Know About Heaven from Earth.” Jack is an incredible teacher who weaves together scripture, history, and geography to help students understand the message of the Bible. Be on the lookout for additional information, but make plans to be in worship at 9:00am or 11:05am, in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00am, and back in the evening at 5:00pm.
