Bellaire Children’s Ministry

Bellaire Children’s Ministry provides a Christ-centered experience for children from birth through 5th grade. Through age-appropriate curriculum, children learn Bible stories and life application. A dedicated team of volunteers models Christian behavior and shows Christ’s love to all our children.

When we worship God at Bellaire UMC, we worship as a family. Your whole family is invited, and don’t worry if you have children with you who make a little extra noise. Activity packs for children are provided at the back of the sanctuary or if you would prefer, loving childcare is provided in the Children’s Wing from 8:50am-12:15pm.

Each Sunday, children of all ages gather together at Sunday school to read and explore Bible stories with age-appropriate instruction.

If it is your first time at Sunday school, stop by the Connection Center and we will help you find the right classroom for your child. If you have questions about Sunday school, please contact Kelly Vicente.

We’re on break!

Ignite is an exciting ministry for fourth and fifth graders that meets one Sunday each month in the Bellaire UMC Student Center. Each session includes games, prayer, discussion, and biblically-based teaching. Boys and girls meet together for part of the session, and separately for the rest of the time.

Power Camp is a summer day camp ministry of Bellaire UMC for children to entering pre-K (4) to entering 7th grade whose mission is to provide a positive Christian environment which includes education, recreation, and fun, while also providing a safe sanctuary for children in Bellaire and it’s surrounding communities.
