What to expect at Bellaire UMC

If you’re looking for a church home or just thinking about trying it out, we would love to see you for worship on a Sunday morning! It’s the best way to get a sense for who we are. We know that going to a new church for the first time or connecting with a new group of people can be intimidating, so we want you to have an idea of what you can expect at Bellaire UMC to make your first visit easier.

SUNDAY SERVICES AT 9:00AM + 11:05AM

We have two distinct worship services every Sunday morning, each of which includes excellent music and thought-provoking preaching. The atmosphere is casual, and there is always plenty of parking and seating.

Contemporary Worship at 9:00am with modern music and a full band

Traditional Worship at 11:05am with classical music, organ, and traditional liturgy

Worship in-person or online any Sunday!

CHILDREN IN WORSHIP

Children of all ages are welcome in worship and encouraged to attend.  We have a special message in each service just for children offered by Mingo Williamson, our Director of Children’s Ministry.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

There are several classes and small groups for adults that meet on Sunday mornings, either virtually or in person.  Email us to get connected.

Sunday school for children meets at 10:00am via Zoom with Mrs. Mingo. Email us for login info.  In-person Sunday school for children and nursery care will resume this fall.

Directions + Parking

We’re easy to get to! Bellaire UMC is located right inside the loop at the corner of Bellaire Blvd. and Newcastle Dr.  Our North and West Parking Lots are most convenient to the sanctuary, and you’ll find plenty of parking there.
