Evangelism
This vital group invites people to be a part of our community and extends hospitality while doing it!
Members volunteer in the following areas and events:
GREETERS
Be the first contact people make at church on Sunday morning! Greeters welcome people, help them find a worship service or Sunday school class and answer questions they may have about the church.
GUEST CONTACT
Served by dedicated members who contact our guests and invite them to return and visit with us again, as well as answer questions regarding Bellaire UMC.
GUEST CENTER
Designed to help guests feel welcome to our worship services. Provide first-time visitors with a gift bag that includes information about the church's services, classes and members.
LIVE NATIVITY
"Bethlehem Village," is our way to tell the wonderful story of the birth of Jesus. Volunteers are needed in several areas: actors, tour guides, set builders, costumers, music, food, etc.
LOCAL EVENTS
Volunteers work our church booth throughout the year and pass out food, drinks and church literature to visitors. It's a great way to support our community and expose our church.
